Rural Landcare
Home Up

The role of Rural Landcare is to assist rural lessees in natural resource management on their leases. This is achieved by working together to obtain funding for projects, assisting with the implementation of successful funding applications, identifying areas for future work and promoting links between lessees, Government and the wider community.

Currently, the Rural Landcare Coordinator administers the Rural Conservation Fund which is aimed at providing small grants to lessees keen to promote conservation of biodiversity on their land.

To find out about how to become involved in Rural Landcare contact the Rural Landcare Coordinator by phoning (02) 6207 2145.
