Upper Murrumbidgee Landcare Committee The UMLC was formed in 1995 as an umbrella group for the Landcare groups in the upper part of the catchment. The UMLC covers an area of 6,500 square kilometres, from Nimmitabel in the south to Queanbeyan in the north and Adaminaby in the west to Numeralla in the east. There are eighteen Landcare groups in the network and the main natural resource issues that they focus on in this area are weed invasion, stream bank and gully erosion and declining remnant vegetation.
